Carp has always enjoyed the cachet that comes from living in a small village.  Although now part of the city of Ottawa, Carp strives to remain a genuine village, and not become part of the urban sprawl.   We’re indeed fortunate to be surrounded by these established attractions, and we hope you visit them when in Carp.

Why did we chose Carp?

Moving from Montreal in 1999 with 3 kids because of relocation for high tech, we spent 6 months looking at every suburb in Ottawa. We fell in love with Carp!

Carp stands alone as a vibrant village, as distinguish itself from bedroom communities in the area. When our kids were old enough, we decided to open the best experience wine store in Ottawa, and it happens to be in Carp

As part of the Carp Business Improvement Area, our goal is to encourage local business success as the best way to maintain our high quality of life.
